MIA Classic
MIA Classic, at its core, is a USAW Sanctioned Olympic Weightlifting Event. Birthed in 2010 by Team Soul, the MIA Classic was the first Olympic Weightlifting event in South Florida and was created to help bring attention and support to our weightlifting community.As one of the most anticipated events in South Florida, the MIA Classic is a "must-do" event for athletes and spectators.

The bones of the MIA Classic will always be Olympic Weightlifing. It's our first love. When MIA Classic was born, in 2010, it was created from a need. There were no Olympic Weightlifting events in Miami. So we created one, and over the years, we have incorporated other aspects of Team Soul and the Miami culture to make it one of the longest standing and most anticipated events in South Florida. We have had the privilege and honor to work with amazing athletes such as weightlifting Olympians, Multi-National Champions, World Champions and have incorporated the Florida State Championships, Powerlifting, Super Total Events, Podcasts, Seminars and so much more to the MIA Classic.
This year is a milestone, 15 years of Team Soul and the 14th edition of the MIA Classic. To celebrate, we’re turning the event into a two-day festival that fuses competition with community, culture, and creativity. Expect live workouts, wellness activations, local vendors, music, and more, a full Miami experience beyond the platform.
Weird at the Beard
Lincoln's Beard Brewing Co. is a locally owned and operated neighborhood brewpub located in the heart of Miami Dade County. Not only do they brew several award winning beers on a 7-Barrel are system, they are also constantly rotating a selection os guest taps with an emphasis on local and Florida breweries.​
We’re bringing the MIA Classic back to Lincoln’s Beard Brewery, a Miami favorite that matches our vibe: raw, creative, and unapologetically local.

Last time, the energy was unmatched: open-air lifting, live music, cheering crowds, and local food. It was more than a meet, it was a celebration of strength, culture, and community.
In 2026, we’re taking it up a notch with two full days of DJs, live art, brand activations, and a full Miami-style experience. It’s not just a competition, it’s a cultural moment.
